Our Story
Founded in 1988, Clive and Julie started Pudsey Carpets, serving the local area with quality carpets supplied and fitted. Moving through the years, son James joined the team in 2009, serving as his father's apprentice for the next few years. Eventually, he transitioned to fitting full-time for the business, allowing Clive to step back from the tools and focus more on the day-to-day running of the business. Meanwhile, Julie manned the helm of the retail store. In 2020, James passed the independent Master Fitter Assessment with the NICF, proving his skills and craftsmanship. As Clive and Julie wind down, James is taking a more prominent role in the business, moving forward into the future.
